In his early twenties, Francesco Illiano arrived in the United States to work at a friend's restaurant. In 1983 he took ownership of a small Hampstead, Maryland pizzeria known as New York J&P Pizza and the first chapter of this great American success story had been written.

Today, Augusto Illiano remains just as passionate about his restaurants as Frank and continues the tradition of authentic Italian cooking in a true family atmosphere. He humbly invites you and your family to join him for next delicious meal.

Damascus, Maryland, located in the central part of the state, has seen over the last two decades much of the farmland around Damascus converted to housing, as federal agencies and private corporations opened offices in Montgomery County and drew newcomers to the area.
